New series Offspring begins filming in Melbourne
Asher Keddie (Hawke, Rush, Love My Way, Underbelly), Kat Stewart (Tangle, Underbelly, 30 Seconds) and Don Hany (Underbelly, East West 101, White Collar Blue) will all star in a new series from Network Ten and Southern Star called Offspring.
Filming begins today in Melbourne on the story about 30-something year old obstetrician Nina Proudman who is finding it impossible to find love and deal with her messy family life.
Offspring will be produced by John Edwards (Rush, Tangle, Love My Way, The Secret Life of Us) and Imogen Banks (Tangle, Dangerous), and directed by Kate Dennis (Rush, Love My Way, The Secret Life of Us) from a screenplay by Debra Oswald (The Secret Life of Us, Police Rescue and theatre production Dags).
“It’s a joyous story with a dream team cast. Can’t wait to get started” said producer John Edwards. Imogen Banks (producer) added “We are thrilled to be making this buoyant, romantic comedy set on the streets of Fitzroy.”
